Via Colori 2017 in Louisville, Kentucky
It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood for Via Colori Kentucky 2017. Louisville, KY's Waterfront Park was quite pleasant, sunny but not too warm, with excellent chalk art being created in a wide variety of styles, sponsored by a wild variety of individuals and companies, accompanied by some groovy tunes by some spectacular local groups of musicians.
There were also several food trucks serving their wares, covering most of the expected carney-style foods in addition to a few slightly more healthy options, including hummus and falafel (among a spectrum of less healthy, but certainly delicious items...)
I'll leave it to you to decide which wasyour favorite piece of art, which was the most culturally relevant, which spoke to you on the most profound levels and which left you yearning for a deeper understanding of the artist's true intent.
My good friends in Louisville's own badass rock band Some Day Soon put on a great show including the following performance of Wolves - one of their classically engaging tunes.
